Andrey Sidersky «Geometry of Enlightenment»

Widely known yoga master Andrey Sidersky will represent the series “Geometry of Enlightenment”. The works, made in abstract painting genre, according to the author's idea, urge to render practical assistance in solving of problems, which a person faces in a modern society.

The name of Andrey Sidersky is known almost to everyone, who is engaged in yoga and psychophysical trainings. His own methodical system “Y23”, optimized to the modern conditions, is the result of thirty years of practice and twenty years of yoga teaching experience. Sidersky is also known as a translator of some works of Carlos Castaneda, Richard Bah, as the author of the book “The Third Revelation of Power”, several specialized books and articles on yoga theory and practice.

A direct continuation of Sidersky's experiences in the field of psychophysics is the exhibition “Geometry of Enlightenment”. The works, belonging to the exposition, appeal to the abstract comprehension of the world and are the peculiar philosophical synthesizing of the reality. To indicate this direction of activity the author introduces the term PSYART. According to Sidersky, it is “the type of thinking, the way of interaction with the world, which is not limited with the canvases only; it is much more: the creation of life itself”.

For his abstract paintings Sidersky sets absolutely practical and concrete goals. It can be the way out of difficult situations in the family, in business, in the relationships with people. His works urge to give inner strength, to bring clarity and serenity in the mentation, to contribute to a more complete perception of one's own inner world. PSYART works here as a mean to find the way out of impasse, as an instrument of broadening the consciousness. At the same time it is implied that the paintings work insensibly for the spectator.
